A BOTOX® lip flip uses 4 to 6 units of BOTOX® to turn the upper lip slightly outward and upward. We often perform it as a solo treatment, but we find it’s especially effective when combined with lip fillers to perfect that pouty look.
BOTOX® in the lips also treats gummy smiles by relaxing the muscle responsible for lifting the upper lip. You’ll still be able to talk and smile naturally, but you’ll show less of your upper gums when you do. This typically only takes about 2 units.

Most hyaluronic acid–based fillers used in DA Lips last between 6–12 months. Longevity depends on your metabolism, the specific product selected, and how expressive your lips are during daily activities.
Patients should avoid strenuous exercise, alcohol, and direct heat exposure (like saunas) for 24 hours. These measures reduce the risk of swelling and bruising.
Most patients describe the treatment as very tolerable. We use topical numbing cream, and most fillers contain lidocaine to enhance comfort during injections.
Yes. If adjustments are ever needed, hyaluronic acid fillers can be safely dissolved with an enzyme called hyaluronidase.
